Series Director. I filmed and directed this 6 x 1 hour TV series for More 4 about a specialist engineering firm who restore and fly many examples of the iconic WW2 fighter aircraft, the Spitfire. 'Hidden in a hangar at Biggin Hill air base a team of nearly 30 dedicated engineers led by factory owner Peter Monk, work nonstop at bringing the great Spitfire back to life. This lovely film follows their work over the course of a year focusing on Monk's dream of turning one particular model..from a rusty hulk into a plane that can soar again...'
