Frank Barnitt. A filmmaker rediscovered (6 mins. 2022)

A short film I made in collaboration with SASE (Screen Archive Southeast). It's about a long forgotten solicitor and amateur filmmaker from Kent in the 1930s who had a passion for film montage and rural themes. In this short, his lyrical but obscure work is reappraised by Prof Frank Gray. It was one of the shorts I presented in the programme 'Untold Archive Stories' curated by myself and Frank Gray.
