A collaboration with SASE (Screen Archive Southeast), this is one of three films I made using their amateur material. In this film, three Kent primary schools re-enact the Battle of Hastings on its 1000th anniversary in 1966. Two of the original children reflect on their involvement and what it means to them now. Screened at Cinecity Film Festival in Brighton with Q&A.
